Deine Aufgaben

Be responsible for the financial business planning and budgeting of the company including forecast planning, unit economics development, liquidity and cash management as well as internal capital allocation
Implement and maintain internal financial controls for accurate reporting and compliance.
Develop cost-management strategies to improve financial efficiency.
Monitor financial risks and ensure timely mitigation.
Foster a culture of cost-consciousness and financial discipline across the organization.
Review existing policies and work with key stakeholders to agree and implement new company policies
Establish effective relationships with relevant stakeholders like banks, tax consultants, legal counsels and auditors

Dein Profil

You have been a key part of a fast-growing start-up or you’ve been working at a venture capital fund / in banking before and you understand the challenges of a fast-growing company. You have a hands-on mentality, owning the business plan (so you will be working in excel / google sheets quite a lot!) while - on the other side - you are an outgoing and strong personality communicating with banks, investors and mostly the leadership team of Pets Deli.

More specifically you have...

a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
a comprehensive grasp of HGB (German accounting law)
5+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Are Fluent in English both written and spoken, German is a plus
D2C/ subscription experience is a plus
